Program Structure & Graduation Requirements

Our master's degrees are structured to provide both breadth of knowledge and depth of research:

  • Credit Requirements: Most master’s programs consist of 4 Semesters, with typically 12 to 15 courses.

  • Transfer Credits: A maximum of 12 credits from transferred courses or a culminating experience can be applied toward your degree program.

  • Completion Criteria: To be awarded a master's degree, students must successfully complete all required coursework, mandatory internships, and a final dissertation project.

Admissions Requirements

Admission into SLUI’s postgraduate programs requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) from a recognized and approved university. To complete your application file, you must submit the following:

  1. Undergraduate Degree (or equivalence) from an approved university.

  2. Transcripts and Certificates: BAC or A/Level and O/Level Certificates or transcripts.

  3. Letter of Intent: A typed statement (maximum of 750 words) addressing:

    • Your preparedness for graduate study and ability to succeed.

    • Your professional goals and what you expect to achieve through this program.

    • How your past experiences have prepared you for this specific field of study.

  4. Updated Resume (where applicable).

  5. Identification: A copy of your National ID Card or passport.

  6. Birth Certificate: A copy of your official birth certificate.

  7. Photographs: Two (2) recent passport-sized photographs (4×4).

  8. Application Fee: Payment of the required admission application fees.
