Program Structure & Graduation Requirements
To ensure our graduates are well-rounded and fully prepared for their respective industries, our bachelor's programs are structured around:
Core Coursework: Foundational modules that provide deep theoretical knowledge in your chosen major, alongside general education requirements.
Practical Internships: Mandatory field attachments or clinical placements that provide vital real-world experience before graduation.
Capstone Project / Project Defense: Final-year students are required to complete and defend an independent research project or practical enterprise plan demonstrating their mastery of the field.
Undergraduate Admissions Requirements
SLUI welcomes applications from high school graduates and diploma holders who are ready to take their education to the next level. To apply, prospective students must submit the following:
High School Qualifications:
For the Anglophone subsystem: GCE Advanced Level (in at least two subjects, excluding Religious Knowledge) and GCE Ordinary Level (in at least four subjects, including English Language).
For the Francophone subsystem: Baccalauréat and Probatoire.
For Top-Up Applicants (HND/HPD holders): A copy of your Higher National Diploma (HND), Higher Professional Diploma (HPD), or equivalent qualification.
Birth Certificate: A clear copy of your official birth certificate.
Identification: A copy of your National Identity Card or Passport.
Photographs: Two (2) recent passport-sized photographs (4×4).
Application Fee: Proof of payment for the required admission application fees.
